Robert Pattinson 'seeking refuge at Reese Witherspoon's holiday home'

After discovering that his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, cheated on him with Rupert Sanders it has been alleged that Robert Pattinson is seeking refuge at close friend Reese Witherspoon’s Californian holiday home.
The pair have been friends since starring together in Water for Elephants in 2011.
The Twilight star, 26, has not been seen since Kristen made a public apology to her boyfriend. While reports suggested Rob may have jetted to his hometown London to see friends, an American magazine now claims to have tracked him down at his Water For Elephant co-star’s £4.5m ranch.
A source told the magazine: ‘He is a total mess. He’s questioning everything.’
It has been reported that Pattinson moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with the 22-year-old actress days after finding out about the affair. While it appears he has given up on the relationship, his former lover is said to be ‘inconsolable’ and trying to get in touch with numerous texts and phone calls.
An insider said: 'She's dying to save the relationship. It's the only thing she cares about.'
Meanwhile, Sanders, 41, is also thought to be attempting to salvage his marriage to Liberty Ross with pictures emerging of him still wearing his wedding ring. The father of two has been married to the model for 10 years. Ross, who stars in Snow White as Kristen’s mother, has remained silent on her husband’s indiscretion.
But according to reports, it appears Rob now wants to meet her to find out if the affair was a ‘momentary discretion’ or it had gone on for months.
A source told a British tabloid: ‘He needs to know for his own peace of mind if theirs was just a fleeting moment. He hopes Liberty can help him find the answers he so desperately craves.’
Another British tabloid reported how Kristen dumped the director hours after she was snapped with him. A source said: ‘Kristen had wanted to end their closeness that day but her desires and emotions got the better of her. She had no intention of leaving Robert and Rupert has never mentioned walking away from his family.’
Once news spread of the affair, the pair were quick to make public statements.
Kristen said: ‘This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry.'
While Sanders told an American magazine: ‘'I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.'
