Robert Pattinson signs a reported $12m contract with Dior

Robert Pattinson, 26, has reportedly signed a $12m (£7.5m) deal to be the face of Dior’s men’s fragrance for three years.

According to a US website, the Twilight star will appear in a series of ad campaigns for the French fashion house allegedly in the coming months.
It was reported that “Rob likes the brand” and frequently wears Dior on the red carpet.
It’s the latest in an on-going line up of celebrity signings. Brad Pitt, 48, has recently appeared in an advert for Chanel No 5 where he quietly recites a poem to a mystery woman. He was paid a seven figure sum for the gig, according to reports.
If the deal goes through, Robert will be following in the footsteps of his on-off girlfriend Kristen Stewart, 22, who is currently the face of Balenciaga's fragrance Florabotanica.

In August, rumours spread that the On the Road star had been dropped as a fashion muse when she wasn't featured in a leaked promotional video for the fragrance. It occurred as news surfaced that Kirsten had cheated on Robert with director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders. However it was confirmed the video was for internal purposes only and an official video campaign will not be released.
The pair were pictured together for the first time since news of her affair a few weeks ago and allegedly appear to be in good spirits.
