Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart pictured together for first time since affair

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been spotted together for the first time since news of the 22-year-old actress’ affair with married director Rupert Sanders surfaced in July.
The pair were pictured together on Sunday night at a bar in Los Angeles - where they spent five hours inside with their friends - and sources said that they appeared in good spirits and even ‘cosied up to each other.’
The reunited Twilight stars were seen leaving the bar together at 2am with onlookers revealing that Kristen looked delighted to be back with her British beau.
A source said: ‘There definitely wasn’t any tension between them – Kristen gave Rob a couple of long looks and when he went over, closed her eyes and put her head on his chest.’
A friend close to the couple explained: 'They're afraid of backlash, so they're keeping things on the down-low.'
Their three-year romance ended earlier this year after pictures of Kristen’s fling with 41-year-old, married Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders came to light. Despite both parties issuing public apologies – and the normally private Kristen begging for Rob’s forgiveness – Pattinson, 26, moved her things out of their shared LA home and supposedly called things off.
But it looks as though the couple have inched their way back together, after reports of secret meetings and long phone calls.
'We’re going to be fine. We’re totally fine,' Kristen said recently when asked about the potential for 'awkward public appearances.'
Both are scheduled to appear at the UK premiere of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in London next month.
