Doherty's ex found dead at Pete's flat
Thursday 28 January 2010
Pete Doherty escaped prison once again after being fined £750 for his 22nd drugs conviction - just days after an ex-girlfriend died of a suspected heroin overdose at a block of flats where the junkie rocker used to live.
Robin Whitehead, member of the super-rich Goldsmith dynasty, was found dead last Sunday in the East London property - which is reportedly owned by the Babyshambles singer - following a 999 call.
Film-maker Robin had recently directed a documentary about Pete and his former band The Libertines. Her death is being treated as unsuspicious.
A friend told The Sun last night: "Robin had problems with heroin over the years but Pete and his circle sucked her in even further. There is an attitude among that crowd that heroin is somehow cool."
Pete, 30, muttered "I don't know what you're talking about" when he was asked about the incident outside court yesterday.
He stood trial after being nicked with 13 wraps of heroin, worth a reported £192.

Typical!! Anyone else on the street with 22 previous convictions regarding drugs, particularly heroin would be looking at some time in jail - but since he's not selling only using he's let off to kill himself and anyone else he draws into the drug abuser cycle!! Hell the guy looks like he lives in a doorway somewhere anyway!!
