Sandra Bullock wins custody battle

After a tense battle that lasted several months, Sandra Bullock has won a custody with her husband Jesse James for his five-year-old daughter, Sunny.
The pair had been fighting it out with Jesse's ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, who is Sunny's biological mother, but the court ruled in the couple's favour.
A judge agreed with Sandra and Jesse's complaints that Janine was an unfit mother, who reportedly fell asleep after taking drugs while Sunny was in her care.
The 45-year-old actress and husband Jesse, 40, now have custody of Sunny, while Janine can only visit her daughter during daylight hours.
Janine and Jesse split in 2004, but the porn star has alleged that the only reason Sandra wanted custody was because she couldn't have children of her own.
The custody battle began after Janine was released from prison (for tax evasion charges) in June; while she was inside, Sandra and Jesse raised Sunny.
She is allowed these privileges on the condition that she doesn't let her current boyfriend near Sunny, as he has a criminal record.
This is all rather heavy for a Friday morning, don't you think? At least Sunny is getting the best life possible now!
Is this what's best for Sunny? Should Janine have been granted visitation?

Oh come on Closer, be fair to the facts! Jesse James has gone out of his way in the US to make it clear the custody battle is between himself and Janine and he didn't want Sandra's name brought into it! Janine herself has played on Sandra's celebrity saying the star couldn't have kids and that's why she's trying to steal hers - Sandra has made it clear she can have kids but they have their hands full right now with Jesse's daughter Sunny!
Jesse was awarded custody as the father, not Sandra even though they are married. From the US news Janine's partner is not allowed anywhere near Sunny, and Janine has to have supervised visitation due to her own substance abuse problems!
Since I haven't got any smileys to hand, yeah, yeah, well done, you rock to Jesse and Sandra, Sunny is obviously in the right place for now - Janine has a choice clean up her act or continue to lose access to her kid especially with her boyfriend around!!
