Meet the stars who shocked fans by marrying in secret

While many celebrities favour lavish weddings with hordes of high profile guests and a profitable magazine deal for exclusive photos – some A-listers like to keep their big day a little more intimate.
These celebrities skipped the grand ceremony and instead opted for low key ceremonies that were kept secret until the confetti had settled and the cake was scoffed!
Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied
Natalie Portman, 31, wed her ballet beau Benjamin Millepied, 35, in secret on August 5 2012. The pair enjoyed a traditional Jewish ceremony in Big Sur, California.
The couple met on the set of Black Swan in early 2009 and welcomed a son, Aleph, in June 2011.
Beyonce and Jay-Z
After dating for 6 years Beyonce, 30, and Jay Z, 42, finally tied the knot in a small private ceremony in Jay Z’s New York penthouse on April 4 2008.
The couple say that they were so private about their wedding because they are ‘real’, in an interview Beyonce said their relationship wasn’t about interviews or the right photo opportunity.

The ceremony had around 40 guests and no maid of honour or best man, as Beyonce claims she isn’t a traditional woman.
The pair welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, in January.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green
Transformers star Megan Fox and ex 90210 star Brian Austin Green, married in a low-key secret ceremony on a beach in Hawaii.
Megan, 26 and Brian, 39 wed on 24 June 2010 after having an on off relationship for 6 years since they met on the set of Hope and Faith in 2004.
There was only one guest present at the ceremony, Brian’s son from his previous relationship, Kassius. (aw!)
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom
Heartthrob Orlando Bloom broke hearts when he married model girlfriend Miranda Kerr in a secret ceremony in 2010. The couple had annoucned their engagement 1 month before and news of the wedding broke when Miranda pulled out of a planned performance in Australia as she was on her honeymoon.
Orlando, 35 and Miranda, 29 first met backstage at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show and began dating a year later.
The couple welcomed a son, Flynn, in January 2011.
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren
Jessica Alba was 9 months pregnant with first daughter Honor when she wed Cash Warren on May 19 2008.
The staff member that married them was the only witness for the wedding, which took place in the Beverly Hills courthouse ceremony room. Jessica said that the timing was 'just right'.
After Honor was born the couple held a reception party in which the family members were brought together for the first time.
They now have two daughters, Honor Marie and Haven Garner.
Agyness Deyn and Giovanni Ribisi
Model Agyness Deyn, 29, and Friends actor Giovanni Ribisi, 37, shocked fans when they announced their marriage in June. The ceremony took place at LA registry office and only Agyness’s sister was let in on the secret. Her family say that the marriage to Scientologist Giovanni it was 'a total shock'.
