She’s the one!
Simon Cowell has kept us all on our toes with his relationship with make up artist Mezghan Hussainey. One minute he’s announcing his engagement the next it’s a long engagement, then we get the feeling he’s cooling off a little, but now he’s declared that the Afghanistan born beauty is the one for him.
The man behind the X factor told Oprah Winnfrey ‘Mish has softened me. She’s helped me see the world differently, I’d never been good with relationships and I never thought I’d be with one person – I do now.”
Simon, 51, who has dated a string of women, got engaged to Mezghan last February has yet to mention a date for the big day… Or any plans about it really until now. The music mogul opened up about his relationship with Mezghan to chat show host Oprah telling her that Mezghan was “the love of his life” and announcing that he would like to start a family with her. Looks like she definitely has the X Factor.
'I genuinely believed no one would want to marry me. I am difficult to live with. I’m selfish, quite weird and I need time on my own to think – and then I work all night long. That is difficult for someone to deal with.’
And on the topic of starting a family? Simon had this to say: ‘I worry about it – because of my age. When I was a youngster, my dad used to play soccer and games with me. And I worry that if I was 70…’
