Stace Solomon: 'I'm pregnant!'
Friday 28 October 2011

Oh My God! Congratulations are in order for Stacey Solomon, who announced her pregnancy in the Sun today.
The baby will be the first child for Stacey and her 24-year-old painter boyfriend Aaron Barham, and a younger brother or sister for Stacey’s little boy Zac, three.
The bubbly 22-year-old I’m a Celeb winner is three months pregnant and can’t wait to find out the sex of the baby, telling the Sun,
“I'm impatient. I can't wait to find out. I'm definitely one of those people who feel their Christmas presents.”
X Factor runner-up Stacey revealed she was worried about telling her partner Aaron about the pregnancy as it was unplanned, but when she handed over the positive pregnancy test he calmed all her fears,
“I was nervous because we weren't planning a child. But the first thing he did was smile. As soon as I saw that, I knew everything would be OK.”
This pregnancy will come as a contrast to the Essex girl’s first pregnancy when she was just 19, she recalls,
"It was unplanned and everyone's reaction was to commiserate, which obviously put a different spin on things.”
Well Stacey isn’t short of well-wishers this time round, with fellow celebs tweeting their congratulations, Danni Minogue wrote,
“congratulations to the beautiful @5taceySolomon on the announcement of her pregnancy.”
Although Stacey is clearly very excited about becoming a mum again, she’s not a fan of being pregnant, saying,
“It's just not fun. You are constantly hot and sweaty, nothing tastes good, you can't wear the latest fashions and nothing looks good on you.”
"Then there is the massive carb face that I get, which I know will be arriving any day. What's to like?"
Refreshingly though Stacey is in no rush to shed her baby weight in rapid time by embarking on a strict diet after the birth, saying,
"Oh no. I need food. With Zac I ate non-stop for three months after giving birth. You need to, to get your strength back and to make sure you are healthy for your baby.”
Well here at Closer we’d like to wish Stacey and Aaron all the best and we can’t wait to find out if they’re having a little boy or a girl.
