Hollyoaks star in drunken pda at Soap Awards

If there was an award being handed out for being the ‘drunkest’ at this year’s Soap Awards, then we’re pretty sure Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davies would win it hands down.
The actress arrived at the annual ceremony looking every inch the elegant woman in a sophisticated floor-sweeping black gown and diamond drop earrings but told a different story at the after-party.
Changing into a more party-appropriate dress, Stephanie was obviously ready to let her hair down but it looks as though she may have done a little more than that! The 18-year-old was obviously very drunk as she left the club and proceeded to jump on a male friend disregarding the short length of her dress.
She was snapped smooching model, Jay Camilleri - who starred in E4 show Dirty Sexy Things - with her legs wrapped around him, exposing her bum to the flurry of photographers that had gathered outside.
The Hollyoaks star obviously had high hopes for the night ahead, tweeting that she was looking forward to an 'amazing night' earlier that day. Well, it certainly looks like she succeeded!
While we have yet to hear from Stephanie, Jay has taken to his twitter account to laugh about the situation. He wrote: 'Awkward mess last night LOL' before replying to a friend: '@MrTomWilliams don't!! Just don't I didn't get in till nearly 8 haha'.
He tweeted another friend: '...sorry for runnin off I promised I'd put the drunk one in a cab LOL x'
It’s still unclear who exactly Jay is tweeting about but we have a good guess!
Elsewhere on the red carpet, it seemed that ‘less is more’ was the motto for the evening.
19-year-old Brooke Vincent wore a daring purple number with a neckline that plunged to her navel while Eastenders actress Preeya Kalidas wore an equally risqué number!
Like a breath of fresh air Michelle Keegan, up for sexiest female at the awards, looked elegant in a shimmering navy blue, one-shouldered gown whilst Jennifer Metcalfe stuck to her uniform of bandage dresses, opting for a floor-length green version. And we don’t blame her with that bod!
Not even the weather can stop these soap stars from enjoying a night out obviously!
