The Voice comes under fire once again!

Monday 21 May 2012

The Voice comes under fire once again after glitch ridden live show.

It seems as though The Voice is still battling criticism and low ratings after a series of unfortunate events, despite the BBC show no longer facing competition from its ITV rival, Britain’s Got Talent.

This weekend’s results show saw technical glitches, on air swearing and an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction for host, Holly Willoughby. Moreover, viewers were left unhappy as the names of those contestants who had been booted off were leaked via Twitter prior to the results show on Sunday night. Viewers were tweeting and commenting branding the show a train wreck.

There was an awkward pause at the start of Saturdays live show when coach Jessie J had a technical difficulty just as she was due to open the group performance with her team.  They quickly recovered and performed hit track, We are Young but Team Jessie then faced more embarrassment when Becky Hill, 18, was seen swearing as she forgot her lyrics during her performance. This prompted Holly to apologise to the public.

The Voice is now approaching the semi-finals and all the team line-ups have now been revealed. After this weekends slightly shambolic show Team Jessie’s Becky Hill and Vince Kidd made it through. Whilst Team Danny saw Bo Bruce and Max Milner take a step closer to the finals.

Next weeks show will see all eight artists perform in a bid to win a place in the final. Special guests will include Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue.
