Don't get me wrong I like the twins - they are painfully funny but Simon was definately wrong. I think he got rid of Lucie because she was a threat to the over 25's.

I am really disgusted with the way Simon handled Sunday nights vote between Lucy and the twins, he was totally out of order with his decision, by far Lucy was the better singer, Simon is just trying to keep his acts in and probably thought that Lucy was competition, especially with all the other judges comments on how good she was.
It's not a talent competition anymore it's just a comedy that the twins are still in they are only good at making a fool of themselves on stage, they can't sing and if it wasn't for all their props where would they be, OUT OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe people will now realise that this has always been a rigged programme.
Most of the reality programmes are as far as Im concerned. How do we know without actually being told the number of votes, that they dont just make it up.
All they want is the money from the voting charges.

Personally I think Lucy was lovely but I am not bothered that she is gone. As for Simon putting it to the public vote I think that is right. If people didnt vote for Lucy to stay they have no right to moan that she had the lowest votes. People pay money to vote and I think its right they have the final say. The judges are only out for themselves so I think Simon did the right thing.

I am totally digusted over this , Simon cowell is supposed to be a judge so why doesnt he judge properly , good acts are being rejected for the sake of keeping the twins in who cant sing or dance ,
i think there a conspiracy between simon and lois ,
if this carries on I for one wont be watching next years x factor , its just a sham

the general public can be funny with their voting so no one is safe only last week jedwood were top of the votes now this week the bottom last week Lucie was above Stacey this week below so no one is safe. At the end of the day it's Simon's show so he can do what he wants and there can only be one winner so they will all be voted off eventually. I liked Lucie but I didn't vote for her and when they have good weeks people don't vote so I can't complain.

teampete I agree that Simon saw Lucie as a threat to his acts. I can't agree with you on the 'Twins' tho', they should never have gone through & I really believe that Louis only did it to Pee Simon off... He should have listened to Ronan Keating!

The twins should leave the competition but come back each week to perform as a novelty act (giving the viewers who can't bear to watch them a moment to put the kettle on). That way the real singers in this competition will have a fair chance each week. I blame the judges.

Get over it people! Lucie got the least amount of votes..and at the end of the day, that's what it comes down to! I totally agreed with Simon when he said he'd rather see the twins next week than her. She was borrrrring! And it made me laugh how cocky she looked about going up against the twins until Simon put it to the public vote. Then the waterworks came on. I agree that they can't sing, and I don't by any stretch of the imagination want them to win, but I really don't mind if a few people go out before they do. At least you remember what they've sung 5 minutes later. Lucie, Lloyd and Stacey make for some serious FORGETTABLE viewing!

No harm against the boys, its not their fault all this has happened, they are just two young guys having fun, theres no need for all the bad attitude towards them.
Ok fair enough Lucie came lowest in the public vote. But it goes to the judges vote for a reason, not for them to put it back to the public vote. its just a waste of time getting the bottom two to sing again if its going back to the previous public vote.
If it was one of Simons acts up against Jedward then he would have went mental if one of the other judges said nah il put it to the public vote, for hi act to go out. he wouldnt like that one little bit, he wouldnt shut up about it only being a singing competition then!!
Hope Jedward are in the final up against one of simons acts, and if they are im gonna vote non stop all night for them to win!! to see the smile wiped right off his face :) !!

Simon Cowell only cares about money.
He has said for a numerous of weeks that he would leave the country if John and Edward won X Factor, he went on to call them 'vile little creatures' so why on earth would he not eliminate the twins?
Because they do very well for the show's ratings, that's why! He claimed that he was shocked that John and Edward won on the public votes...... Really simon? He knew they were a hit and everybody is talking about them. Silly youngs girls would vote for John and Edward but not so much for Lucie.
I'm not blaming John and Edward, I blame the judges for putting them through and Simon for not getting rid of them when he has constantly slagged them off. In protest, I will not be watching X Factor no more. What is the point? It's a complete joke. The show has lost all it's credibility now.

Simon Cowell knew fine who was going off - all he wanted is the views. This show is fixed - He had previously said he thought it was gooing to be girl voted off - and who was it? His plans have backfired on him, and you notice that he now says that he "didn't know" the results. Yes, he wouldn't have known for sure, but he would have known that Jedward get voted through for their entertainment factor.
I enjoy watching Jedward perform, but they're not good. Lucie should still be on that show. If someone good - like Olly, who's amazing, or Danyl..Jamie..Any of them that are actually decent get voted off and the twins stay in, I'll know for sure that its a fix.
If only the "fix factor" wasn't so addicting, I would stop watching it. I don't even vote...I'll be interested to see Ofcoms findings.

People may like them because their funny to watch and everything but no one is going to want to listen to them on the radio because lets face it they cant sing...
they seem like really nice lads and they are quite entertaining sometimes but they shouldn't have been put through to the live shows.. x

None of the winners of these talent competitions are around for long when they have to get out there and compete - it's always the runners up who seem to do better out of it all lol!! Since the people voted for Lucie to leave even if Simon didn't know the votes he clearly got rid of the one with the least votes for once - if the viewers don't want to see them why should the judges even have a deciding power to save them hm?! Some of the ones saved previously have been dire lol!!
As for 3,000 people complaining - it's really not a lot of people when you consider the audience figures top a million now is it?! More people complained about Jonathon Ross and most hadn't even heard the original broadcast lol!!
Just as long as there's no backlash against Jedward by the public for succeding when Lucie didn't! Ofcom are only going to be investigating the telephone lines for voting, they're not going to re-instate Lucie.

It's true it's the publics vote that counts but I can't afford to vote every time so the onus is on Simon to admit that Lucie was the better singer and that the twins should have gone, Simon has made it clear from day one that the twins were not good singers and they aren't.

Good point Rose! It's ok to say that we should vote for our favourites but maybe, as you point out, we can't all afford (especially in the current climate) to keep on voting on premium rate phone lines to keep our favourites in!
Simon, especially after all the moaning he's done, should have kept the most talented act in. You can bet your life that he wouldn't have taken the chance to go to Deadlock if it was one of his acts in the bottom two... Self-interest - pure and simple!

I think that lucie should well have stayed on xfactor, all these times i believed that simon had really good taste in picking singers but this i couldnt believe what he did. Because at first he was going on about how the twins were dreadfull but now he just put it to deadlock because he knew the twins would have more public vote, some rumors have been spreading that simon has big plans for the twins, is that true?? Its really frustrating that they are in this compotition. I mean it was funny at first but i now think its just boring and unbelevible. And the final push that got me was when they sent Lucie home instead of Jedward, i mean okay i would expect it from Louie because its his act and he likes the yunger jenoration and so on .. :/. Who els thinks that Xfactor is turning into some sort of soap or somthing, them all arguing and saying that cheryl is having a hard time and that lot. Its not professinal really lol. And there arn't bothering to focus on the voices and talent, [ovboursly or jedward wouldnt be in it ;) ].
