Hoorah - TOWIE is back on our screens at long last! After a couple of months without it, we finally got out Essex fix last night and wasn't it a gooden!
We saw the reveal of James Argent - after losing three stone and getting himself some veneers - and saw a spark finally fly between Gemma and her new man, Charlie.
We've all been well aware that Arg is currently in training for the marathon but we were all just as shocked as Lydia when he made a surprise appearance at Billie Mucklow and Cara Kilbey's fundraising event showing off his transformation.
Instead of his wonky teeth, the 24-year-old is now sporting gleaning white veneers and has had his eyebrows waxed and his eyelashes tinted. But, most of all, the wedding singer took this as his chance to show off his dramatic weight loss.
Ex-girlfriend Lydia was obviously impressed - after not seeing her former beau for six weeks, she took the time to speak to him in private.
'You look so different... Your teeth look so different...!"
Arg then admitted that he hadn't done all this simply for himself, but with the hope that he might be able to win her back. He said: 'I know I've said I've done this for me... but really I have done it for you.
'You said if you sort your life out and we'll grow up.
'I've started doing that now, I'm not the person I was a month and a half ago. I still love you. I still miss you. I know you still love me.
Lydia replied: 'I still miss you and I still love you but I was so miserable and I'm so much happier.'
Arg then suggested they try and go on a date: ' I've grown up and done everything you want me to do. I'd love for us to go out to dinner.'
As Lydia explained she would prefer to be friends, Arg responded: 'You and me can't be friends. If we go out, we'll end up in bed together. I've giving you the opportunity to go out with me...'
Lydia refused, saying: 'I want you to move on. Shut up you arrogant a**ehole.'
Smooth Arg!
Meanwhile, our fave bubbly blonde Gemma Collins seemed to be getting a little frustrated with her love interest, Charlie, after confiding in her mum that he hasn't tried to be physical with her yet.
After dating for several weeks, Gemma insinuated that she was ready to do the deed with her new man but he hadn't given her any sign that he wanted to just yet. That was until that evening though...
In a bizarre turn of events, Gemma found herself trying to recreate the infamous scene from Titanic when Jack draws Rose naked although we can't help but assume it wasn't quite as romantic as they had hoped.
Charlie explained to a bemused Gemma: 'I want you to get naked for me.
'It's the 100 year anniversary of Titanic and I love the film. I always want to recreate that scene in the film where Jack sketches Rose.
A shocked Gemma replied: 'What the f**k are you talking about? That is sick. The weirdest thing I've ever heard in my life.'
Then he asked again: 'I've got my sketchbook and my pencil is sharpened. Shall I go and get my stuff?'
Gemma replied: 'No Charlie, p**s off.'
After initially refusing, Gemma finally gave in but used a pink sheet to protect her modesty.
As she lay down on a chaise lounge, she complained: 'I feel like a pig in blankets - those things you eat on Christmas Day.'
At which point, Charlie replied: 'No, you look like a trifle!'
Although it wasn't the most romantic situation, Gemma admitted that it had broken the ice between the pair and it ended with Charlie asking her to spend the night.
Ooh-er.
