I personally feel, its not natural for human beings to be monogamous, we dont mate for life. Cheating is part of our genetic make up, it's like a dog barking......Everyone cheats, just becasue we dont like it, doesnt change the fact that it happens. I dont like the fact that people die, but it still happens and you cant change that.
I think GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY everyone would cheat, you cant honestly say that you wouldn't until you're in that position. Everything in this world is about opportunity.
Marrying someone doesn't mean own them. I think people need to be a bit more open minded, surely isolated cases should be dealt with differently than full blown affairs ?
I still think Vernon is gorgeous & Tess a tad grumpy....

lol how can u say tess is grumpy shes totally gorgeous some people just dont know when they have it good - if the love and respect is totally genuine IT is possible to be faithful for life i personally think someone would only say that sort of thing if they no that they would give into temptation im not aiming that at you usual1 im just commenting on what u said.

lovingmum I agree that Tess isn't grumpy but usual1 isn't totally wrong! Men (all of them married/single etc) have been scientifically proven to be thinking of sex every 30-60 secs! Women would like to believe their man is going to be faithful to his dying day, some are, but I'm sorry unless he's been turned into a eunuch men are always going to look at other women, get turned on by them, the difference is not all of them act on it by jumping into bed with someone else!
You can't compare John Terry and Vernon Kay in anyway, Terry acted on his itch, so far all Vernon has done is sent some racy texts physically he hasn't cheated on Tess and that's one hell of a difference!
I know some women feel the texts are cheating, but look at it another way, all those women manning the sex lines who look nothing like their pictures, talking dirty and making the lines hot, they still go home to their partner/boyfriend/hubby and don't take their work with them lol!! I know it's not work for Kay but unless he's had sex with the woman or otherwise cheated on Tess it would be madness to run straight for the divorce court especially with two kids together!!
If these two break up over some page3 model selling her story of racy texts with Vernon there's no justice in the world lol!! One thing though ladies you'd think these celebs, footballers, m.p's etc would try using their braincells not their balls to think with - there's only ever one reason these young lithe nobodies ever get involved with celebs etc, SO THEY CAN SELL THEIR STORY and have thie 5mins of fame lol!!

ye i know what u mean emerald of course its human nature to find other people attractive and even maybe flattered if someone shows interest it can happen to all of us but its important to know where to draw the line and people who can do that can remain faithful innocent flirting i can forgive but theres no way i could forgive anything else been there b4 and forgiven but its always in the back of ur mind and i couldnt move on so decided to call it a day but good luck to anyone who can forgive and forget

I am not dismissing other peoples opinion but cheating for me is a no no!! I was devastated when my ex cheated on me with 3 women! And I was not a moaning, grouchy old cow who made him! I caught my ex with someone and I don't mean to be nasty but god only knows where he picked her up from! (Yellow badly permed hair - yikes I am being nasty) - I dumped him immediately and god help his new "girlfriends" as he will do the same to them. After saying that I don't hate him. I know for sure I would have started to if I had stayed with him though. Just my opinion however, I understand the other comments on here.

I do agree loving mum that once you've caught your man cheating there's no going back, it's always in the back of your mind and if you stayed together it would always come up in rows until you both hated each other and yourselves! You only have to look at Cheryl Cole's marriage to Ashley Cole! Unless you've got kids together I can't understand anyone wanting to stay with a man who's cheated on you sexually, you're always going to wonder if there were more than just the one you found out about!
My point was not to condone what Vernon kay has done but just to say at least it's not gone as far ( well as far as we know) as having sex with the model - his marriage if Tess is willing to forgive could be saved if he's willing to stay on track for his family!
Haitch30 Exactly, when you look at the women some of these people are accused of cheating with and you look at the wife you scratch your head in utter bewilderment, some of these women (excuse me ladies I mean no disrespect) are total dogs in comparison lol!! I totally understand your point of view and the others here, some man cheated on me his balls would be lodged in his nostrils for all eternity (heavy kick - ouch lol!) and no begging would work, he'd only be saying anything I wanted to hear without meaning it!!

I'm sorry if my comments offended anyone, that wasn't my intention. I'm not suggesting we all sit back & be happy if are men are cheating. I'm just trying to be realistic.
No one can say for sure how they will behavior in certain situations, I'd like to say I could resist temptation & walk away but I couldn't say for sure.

haha emerald ur so funny and hi usual1 u dont have to apologise we are all here to give an opinion i can see what u meant and in this world we live in its probably becoming more acceptable and the norm and i think its sad but a lot of people probably think its hip to cheat on a partner, i suppose im an old fashioned romantic at heart and ever hopeful that somewhere out there true love and fidelity can exist. my ex cheated on me i dont know how many times but i gave him the boot haha i was single for 5 years and ive been with my now fiance for 15 months he lives and works in germany while im here in london with my two kids. i can honestly say that i trust him implicitly and that my previous relationship ( tho it hurt me alot) hasnt stopped me from loving and trusting again in fact hes the best thing to happen to me and the kids :D

I think the bottom line is that MOST men are never satisifed, they always want more. Attractive men, who are sucessfull & have a few quid think, even more so, that they are invincible. If girls like Tess marry someone who is in the limelight & adored & fancied by hundresd of women he's bound to get tempted because the opportunity is there.
I'd like to think prehaps things are different for your average bloke but I'm not hopefull.
As for you lovingmum - Congratulations on finding someone who makes you happy, it's great that you can trust someone after your last relationship. Good Luck for the future.
