There's certainly lots of potential for romance in this year's Big Brother house with people of all different sexual orientations, and ladies who are already walking about in their bikinis (or underwear in Beyonce lookalike Rachael's case.)
While we wait for this year's housemates to 'fall in love' with each other, let's take time to remember some classic BB couples from the past. Be sure to vote for your favourite!
BB2: Helen and Paul 
One of the first BB couples was ditzy welsh Helen and charming Paul. Helen was not actually single at the time but just could not hide her feelings for Paul. Big Brother saw this and set up a romantic evening for them that went down a treat. They were very innocent in the house, a true romance, which is why the viewers loved them. The couple stayed together for five years and even lived together after they left the house.

BB5: Stuart and Michelle 
Ahh Michelle and her precious 'chicken Stu.' (She was incredibly proud of her punning ability.) Flirting from the moment they entered the house, they indulged in naked showers and shook the nation with whatever funny business might have taken place under that table! They separated after a year together as they were ‘different people in different places’, according to Michelle.

BB7: Nikki and Pete 
Tantrums (Nikki) and tourettes (Pete) didn’t seem the best match but they won our hearts. On her first eviction Nikki confessed to being in love with Pete and her re- entering the house gave us an emotional yet slightly bizarre reunion. The couple remained strong whilst in the house but quickly split once BB ended. Pete recently got married on Living TV's Four Weddings whilst Nikki is currently single.

BB8: Ziggy and Chanelle 
The hulmilating ‘it’s not me it’s you’ answer that Ziggy gave Chanelle at why they shouldn’t be together is one we will not forget. Being the only male at the beginning of the series Ziggy was fancied by a lot of women! But he only had eyes for Chanelle. They were dubbed the Posh and Becks of the Big Brother house.

BB9: Luke and Rebecca 
It’s official, opposites do attract. Geeky Luke and bubbly Bex were an unlikely couple. After weeks of flirting and play–fighting the pair finally embraced in a kiss under the covers. Bex got evicted and poor Luke coped with his loss by staying in bed all week. When Luke left the house he confessed his feelings for true feelings for Bex. They quickly became a couple and they dated and became a couple for almost a year before ending things.
