Rooneys book holiday before England's loss
Friday 02 July 2010
As the rest of the country mourns our World Cup disaster, England’s striker Wayne Rooney jets of to his luxury £5 million holiday home in Barbados, his family in suit.
Wayne's WAG wife Coleen visited the gorgeous villa in February, but this will be Wayne's first sight of it since building began last year.
Shockingly, the Rooneys apparently booked £5,923 flights two days before England's heartbreaking loss to Germany last Sunday.
Following team mate Frank Lampard’s example, who was snapped in the Mediterranean with his missus Christine Bleakley, Wayne is part of an exodus of England players fleeing rather than staying home to face the wrath of fans.
He was snapped walking through the airport pushing his 8-month-old son Kai looking a bit miserable, but Coleen managed a smile.

Says it all about their effort to win really doesn't it hm?! Wayne Rooney and the other players could give a rats ass and now they're too chicken to come straight home so they're on luxurious holidays to rest their poor overworked little pampered bodies up lol!! They had to exercise y'know lol!!
Anyone thinking that's harsh has obviously not been receiving the sort of England jokes I have lol!!

I think this world cup catastrophe just shows up how overpaid and pumped up our players are- I don't blame them for not wanting to come home- maybe they'll all stay away and let some real football players take their places!

alib01 I totally agree, if our England squad was made up from lower division players with talent who earn far, far less than these overpaid so called wonders of football, maybe we'd stand a chance lol!! They'd have more to prove and a damn sight more to gain than those who know their wages are guaranteed just by the name they've made for themselves!! The England football team is a team of individuals with massive ego's who are playing for their own glory and thus there is no support or true team effort to play for their country!!
When you look at how little some of these other countries players are being paid and yet they have the fire and passion to play for their country's glory - we lost that a long time ago!!
