Whilst Chantelle looks glum Reid denies split

So the saga between our favourite reality lovebirds continues yet we are still none the wiser as to weather Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid are still together?
Whilst Chantelle has been pictured looking glum in recent days and is reportedly living in an unfurnished flat in Essex, Alex seems to be maintaining that they are still very much loved up and living together.
The reality TV couple have both put out very different statements over the past few days and have left people baffled as to their status.
Amid rumours his fiancé had upped and left Reid took to Twitter, yesterday, and said: '1 @chantellehought has not moved out. We’re still very much together in love & looking forward to mini me arriving.'
He also went on to claim that the couple were in fact heading out for an evening meal together.
He said: '@OK_Magazine @chantellehought no she hasn't, she's well and truly with me. In fact we're just going shopping for a romantic dinner, so? Hmm?'
So its all a bit mystifying really, Alex is insisting they are still together, Chantelle has said in her magazine column that she has moved out, yet she also confirmed that they are still engaged…may be its just a case of crossed wires?
Either way we hope the pair patch things up soon!
