X Factor's Cher storms of stage in turmoil

The X Factor only just lost its lead drama queen Katie Waissel last weekend but it seems she has been fast replaced by 17 year-old Cher Lloyd.
The stress of the weekly competition is clearly getting to the singer who stormed off stage at a mid-week secret gig. The pint-sized performer stormed off t after performing three songs for the small crowd of 100 competition winners, the Daily Mirror reports.
She also branded ITV show’s studio audience “disgusting” and said she is “terrified” of being booted off the show on Sunday, then walked off stage.
A source inside the X Factor house said: “Cher is struggling again. She keeps threatening to quit the show, saying if it wasn’t for her contract she would be out.
“The therapist has her own room in the house and is on call 24/7. It is hoped Cher can be calmed down in time for Saturday’s show.
“She’s had a series of strops and rants and has been a bit of a nightmare. The patience of some staff has finally run out.”
Cher told fans during the question and answer part of Wednesday night's event that being booed really upset her.
She said: “My heart started pounding and I was scared to death. For me to be stood on the stage on my own and to have people boo me is disgusting. I had no where to run to and still now I get really upset about it.”
One fan said: “I couldn’t believe Cher’s attitude. It was atrocious.
“My children are half her age but they have much better manners than her. She snarled the whole time and was bitter.”
This meltdown was her second in a week after she refused to attend the Narnia film premiere in London on Monday.
Cher told Daily Mirror: “Being away from my family has been frightening. I’m just me but sometimes I feel like I’m trapped in a famous persons body.
“I have my moments but I’m still learning and I have the same insecurities as everyone my age. I have opinions and sometimes I put them across in the wrong words.”
Meanwhile, an inquest into the death of Cher’s uncle Edward Smith, 34, gave their verdict on the cause of death yesterday. The father of six died in September and his body was found at his home in Malvern, Worcs.
His death was caused after he was tricked into taking a heroin substitute, methedone, by a friend. Mr Smith was not a drug user. A man was arrested last month on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.
