Diva Fever and Storm booted off X Factor

Monday 18 October 2010

It was the final curtain call for camp crooners Diva Fever and pink-haired Storm. Diva Fever failed to impress viewers with their version of “Barbara Streisand”, originally by Duck Sauce, which, luckily for them didn't  didn’t require much singing skill.

Storm also failed to impress with his slightly bizarre performance of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Ride”.  He received the least votes of the night and was sent off first.

Simon Cowell was spared making a tough decision between both his acts Deiva Fever and Bella Aime, who were both forced to perform to save their place in the show.

It seemed it was a unanimous decision to send Diva Fever packing.

Other, highlights of the show included Rebecca’s and Mary’s amazing performances. Wagner also managed to put a smile on our faces with his on stage show and adorable comments about Mary when probed by Simon if he was getting it on with the Irish singer.

He politely replied by telling everyone what a lovely woman Mary was, like we already didn’t know!

Katie Waissel looked thrilled and relieved to be put through first, after last week having to sing for her survival.

Although we were sad to see Diva Fever leave the show this Sunday, we can’t help but feel the judges made the right decision by keeping lovely Belle Amie in the running.

With a healthy 12 contestants still battling out to be crowned X Factor winner 2010, we recon the title could go to anyone. We just wonder what shenanigans the bunch are going to get up to this week – this year certainly seems to out do previous years for off stage gossip. Watch this space.
