While most of us mere mortals wear our favourite clothes time and time again, most celebrities have a strict one-wear policy. Whether they be on the red carpet or the morning coffee run, it’s not very often you’ll spot an A-lister in the same outfit twice.
But thanks to Kate Middleton and her love of recycling old outfits – often wearing the same getup two or three times - a legion of stars are suddentlyhappy to be pictured several times in the same get up. Rebelling against the norm, these celebs have dusted off their favourite items again and again…

Following in the footsteps of the ultimate Royal recycler - the Queen herself – Kate Middleton wore this Emilia Wickstead dress for the Diamond Jubilee garden party. Demonstrating her thrifty side, this was the second outing for the pink pleated dress, which she also wore two weeks before at the Royal Sovereign's lunch at Windsor Castle.
Fearne Cotton
Fearne Cotton is the Queen of shabby chic and obviously knew she was onto a winner with this dress. Not only did she buy it in two different colours, but she’s worn in four times! It’s all about the accessorising, donch’a know!
Pippa Middleton
Taking tips from her sister, Pippa Middleton has recycled her favourite Zara jacket on a few occasions. She’s even managed to take the monochrome number from winter to summer.
Pixie Geldof
Pixie Geldof loved this look so much that she wore it twice in one week! Opting for a more casual look at the launch of Rita Ora’s single in ballet pumps, but vamping it up with metallic wedges a week later.
Katherine Jenkins
Katherine Jenkins wore this Victoria Beckham dress to the Apollo theatre in February and to the Royal Albert Hall in March. Well, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it - right!
