‘Kimberly Walsh is a great role model for women out there’ says the former presenter.

‘She isn't trying to starve herself to be a beanpole but is really celebrating her feminine curves. And she looks fabulous.’

The South African stylist - who was known for her unsympathetic manner on hit show 10 Years Younger – however, added that, although curves are great and should be celebrated; women should ensure they keep fit and healthy too.

'Curves are there to be celebrated. They're what make us sexy!' she said.

‘But you still need to exercise and make an effort to keep yourself toned – even when you are curvy.'

And dressing for your body type is a great factor too, she explained.

'If you have a big bust, then stay away from heavy knitted jumpers. Or wear a cardigan and add a belt to define the waist.'

The author of Top to Toe: The Ultimate Guide to Becoming Who You Want to Be and ambassador of Cool Sculpting also gave her views on why she thinks X Factor judge Tulisa is slightly ahead of Nicole Scherzinger on the style stakes this year.

Tulisa

‘During the audition stages, Tulisa was a bit on the chavvy side – with her blonde hair and bright colours – and it wasn’t quite working, but as we’ve got to the live shows, she’s toned herself down a bit and is a lot more sophisticated.’
