Closer meets Boris Johnson!

Thank God it’s Friday. Funny how a day off at the beginning of the week makes the week feel much longer than a day off at the end. Or is that just us? Still, we’re not knocking a day off, just in case anyone fancies giving us another holiday…
So what’s happening? Well, last week lovely ice-cream people Magnum commissioned a survey to find out the best and worst moments of this summer so far. Turns out loads of people were happy Robbie Williams got back with Take That. Obviously we were FAR more interested in the golden man they sent into the office armed with Magnum Gold ice-creams. Yep, you heard – a man painted head to toe in gold gave us sugary treats. They clearly know us too well.
In other news. Katie Banks attended the super-posh Square Mile masked ball this week and only went and bumped into the mayor of London town, Boris Johnson! Yes, we run in very upmarket circles here at . Don’t be surprised if you see Miss Banks riding her Boris bike round the capital in the next few days – she’d appreciate a friendly car horn. (Er, please don’t actually toot her as if she falls off and injures herself there’ll be no-one to stalk celebrities for you.)
Next week, we’ve got a good few events lined up to keep the pages of After Dark full of gossip. We’ve got a couple of premieres, we’re getting dressed up for Bestival and it’s also the GQ Man Of the Year awards. It’s a hard life. We promise to work hard and not enjoy ourselves too much. Maybe.
