Robbie to reunite with Take That
Tuesday 26 January 2010
Robbie Williams has become the latest artist to lend his vocals to the Haiti charity single, meaning he is to be sensationally reunited with former bandmates Take That.
Confirming his participation to The Sun, the pop pin-up said he was "honoured" to be asked to help, adding: "We can all do something to help the people of Haiti - and I urge people to do what they can."
Organiser Simon Cowell – who has pulled together a rather impressive line-up - is eager to get the track finished as soon as possible.
Take That are due in the studio in LA today to record their slot, and it's thought Robbie's vocals will be added later.
The single also features the likes of Leona Lewis, JLS, X Factor champ Joe McElderry, Mariah Carey, and Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl Cole.
Fifty per cent of proceeds from the single will go to the Helping Haiti fund and the rest will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
