The girls dress up for Paris Fashion Week
Thursday 08 October 2009
Fashion shows are the ultimate opportunity for every A-Lister worth their salt to flex their style-muscles.
What you wear, who you're partying with and, most importantly, which front rows you're gracing is probably as important to your credibility as what you do the rest of the year for every fashionista dedicated to the cause.
And the lovely ladies are virtually falling over themselves to score in the style-stakes! Which ensures that throughout Paris Fashion Week, so far we have been spoilt with directional/inspiring/crazy outfits to gawp at!
Rihanna alone could have kept us busy all day had we tried to report on all the outrageous stuff she dreamt up to impress the fash-pack!
Anyway... today we want to look at these three gals...
First up we have fashion veteran Kate Moss, sporting two very different looks: from casual cool in a pair of grey skinnies and a pale-pink shirt to full-impact glamour in a raunchy black PVC frock, which, despite its' high neck, left very little to the imagination.
No one does casual like our Mossy, but we think she still looks as hot as ever when she dresses up! Which look do you prefer?
Kate's pal Lily Allen, who has been under the wing of Chanel head honcho Karl Lagerfeld for some time now, also tried to prove her style credentials by jazzing up her demure blouse and tulip skirt combo with knee-high socks and some serious candy-striped heels.
A dash of colour can liven up any outfit, but we are not sure about these babies... we feel they might be a tad too casual for the otherwise rather elegant garments?
But what do you think? Does she pull it off or did Lil get dressed in the dark?
And let's look at the beautiful Freida Pinto... well, the girl could literally wear a black bin bag and still manage to look stunning, so unsurprisingly the Slumdog Millionaire looks rather lovely in this ruffled number!
The blue colour works beautiful against her dark skin while the boots (which you can hardly see in this picture, sorry) gives the dress a bit of edge.
Opinions, readers: does she look amazing or do you think this has a hint of a Quality Street in it?
Who is your style queen? And who should be banned from Paris for life for offenses against fashion? Let us know, why don't you?
